Hello, I am Sydney Datcher, founder of V.I.P. C.H.I.C. I have dedicated my life to bringing awareness to the daily challenges those with disabilities face.
The passion behind V.I.P. C.H.I.C. is my family. My little sister to be exact. Simone was born with a chromosome anomaly that affects her ability to learn at the same rate as her peers. I am inspired everyday by her "can-do" attitude and desire to overcome everyday challenges. In 2009, I founded V.I.P. C.H.I.C. (Very Influential People Creating Hope for the Intellectually Challenged). V.I.P. C.H.I.C. is multi-faceted organization that includes a mass market appeal clothing line, that raises awareness and financial support for organizations that share my passion of educating, advocating and providing services for individuals with disabilities. 100% of the proceeds from the V.I.P. C.H.I.C. clothing line are donated to organizations like The ARC of Texas (for whom I am a spokesperson) and other worthy organizations including The National Down Syndrome Society's Buddy Walk and Special Olympics. In honor of my sister and her love of horses, V.I.P. C.H.I.C. has also established a scholarship fund for riders who wish to participate in the Equestrian Special Olympics. My goal, is to be able to sponsor every rider who dreams of participating in this program, but is unable to, due to financial restrictions.
V.I.P. C.H.I.C. is not just one person. You can become a VIP today, and show your support for the disabled and intellectually challenged by wearing your very own V.I.P. C.H.I.C. t-shirt. Donations to the V.I.P. C.H.I.C. Equestrian Scholarship Fund are also welcome.
